Flight Instructor

I have dreamed of being a pilot since I was ten years old. Six years ago I took my first flight lesson with a friend who was a flight instructor. I was instantly hooked. I did my initial training in Baltimore and when I moved to Reno five years ago I was shocked at the additional challenge mountain flying provided. My intention was to become a private pilot, but I loved flying and figured that an instrument rating might be helpful in the mountains, so I continued and obtained an instrument rating. After the instrument rating I realized that I wanted to fly full time, so I obtained my commercial multi engine and single engine licenses. Finally, in June 2008 I left my career as a CPA to complete my flight instructor rating and I began teaching. As a flight instructor I am truly living my dream!
